Is there a free version?
Yes. The free tier costs nothing and has no trial clock, 15 ingredients, 3 recipes and 1 supplier, with the full costing engine and iCloud sync. Upgrade only when you outgrow it.
Is it one purchase across Mac, iPhone & iPad?
Yes. Your subscription or lifetime purchase covers Mac, iPhone and iPad as long as you use the same Apple ID. Buy once, use everywhere.
Subscription vs lifetime, which should I pick?
A subscription (monthly or yearly) spreads the cost and always stays current. Lifetime is a single payment that you own forever, including free updates. If you plan to use Plate Pro for more than two years, lifetime usually works out cheaper.
Do you collect my data?
No. There's no account, no sign-up and no tracking, we collect no data. Your recipes, costs and margins stay on your device and in your private iCloud.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Plate Pro works fully offline, and syncs across your devices via iCloud whenever you're connected.
Can I import supplier prices?
Yes. You can import ingredient and supplier pricing from a CSV file, so you don't have to retype your existing data.
Does it do inventory or purchase orders?
Honestly: not yet. Plate Pro is costing-first today, recipe and sub-recipe costing, supplier price tracking and wastage. Full inventory management and purchase orders are on our roadmap. See the roadmap.
