Agreement
By downloading or using Plate Pro, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
The App
Plate Pro is a recipe costing application for iOS and macOS. It calculates recipe costs by tracking ingredient prices and quantities, providing accurate cost data for menu pricing and margin management.
Subscriptions
Plate Pro offers a free plan and two Pro subscription options: monthly ($9.99/month) and yearly ($79.99/year). The free plan includes up to 15 ingredients, 3 recipes, and 1 supplier. Pro subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store and auto-renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Free Plan
Plate Pro includes a free plan with no time limit. The free plan allows up to 15 ingredients, 3 recipes, and 1 supplier per business. You can upgrade to Pro at any time to remove all limits. If you cancel a Pro subscription, you return to the free plan and your data is preserved.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. If you need a refund, contact Apple directly through the App Store or reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your Data
You own your data. We don't claim any rights to your recipes, ingredient lists, or cost calculations. Your content belongs to you. If you delete the app, your local data goes with it. iCloud data can be managed through your iCloud settings.
Availability
We aim to keep the app working reliably, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The app runs locally, so it works offline. iCloud sync depends on Apple's services, which are outside our control. We're not responsible for outages or downtime on Apple's end.
Limitations
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we do our best to make the calculations accurate, we're not liable for business decisions made based on the app's output. Always verify critical numbers independently. The app is a tool to help, not a replacement for professional financial advice.
Intellectual Property
The app, its design, code, and content are owned by Plate Pro. You get a licence to use the app as intended — you can't reverse engineer it, redistribute it, or claim it as your own. Your recipe data remains yours.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. As the app runs locally on your device and does not require user accounts, termination would apply to subscription-based features.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.
