We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected. Plate Pro is designed to operate without requiring access to your personal information.

Data Collection

We don't collect personal data. The app runs entirely on your device. We don't require you to create an account, and we don't ask for your name, email, or any other personal information to use the app.

iCloud Sync

If you use iCloud, your data syncs through Apple's CloudKit service. This is a direct connection between your devices and your iCloud account. We don't have access to your CloudKit data — it's stored in your private iCloud container, and Apple doesn't give us a way to read it.

Analytics

We don't use third-party analytics services. There are no tracking pixels, no ad networks, no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude. We don't track how you use the app or what features you interact with.

Subscriptions

Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We don't see your credit card number, billing address, or any other payment details. Apple processes the transaction and tells us whether you have an active subscription — that's it.

Data Storage

All your recipe data, ingredient lists, and cost calculations are stored locally on your device using Core Data. If you have iCloud enabled, a copy syncs to your iCloud account. We don't operate servers that store your data.

Third Parties

We don't share, sell, or give your data to anyone. There are no third-party SDKs in the app that collect data. The only external service the app communicates with is Apple's CloudKit (for sync) and the App Store (for subscriptions).

Cookies

This website does not use cookies. The native app does not use cookies or any equivalent tracking mechanisms.

Children

Plate Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
